Caleb Wurster was born in Brockton, Massachusetts and grew up in Coventry, Rhode Island. A left-handed pitcher for the University of Connecticut Huskies where he majored in environmental engineering, he was drafted in the 15^th round by the Miami Marlins in 2021. He is the son of Mark and Kimberly Wurster. He has four brothers and two sisters.
