This is the story of Robert Bradley, III and how God inspired him to be founder of a bank, a school, a communications organization, and family institute. He leads a thriving company, served as church elder and is a chairman and trustee of Christian schools in Boston. Jesus said, “Follow me,” Rob said, “Yes.”
 
Rob Bradley serves as chairman of Bradley, Foster & Sargent. Earlier, he was president and CEO of Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, which he founded in 1985. He spent 14 years with Citicorp, including 12 years in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. In addition to graduating from Williams, he earned a master’s in international economics at The Fletcher School at Tufts. He is married to Nancy. They have three adult children and 12 grandchildren.

How does God lead a boy who was born in Germany and came to the United States as a refugee? How did he grow up in Boston to become one of the influential Christian leaders in the Northeast for fifty-years? This is the story of Father Jurgen Liias, a Catholic priest with roots in the Episcopalian priesthood. His love for God reflects the care received from someone who took his family in when they first arrived from Germany. A love Jurgen radiates to “others,” as Jesus said in John 13:34.
 
Father Jurgen Liias was the founding pastor of St. Gregory the Great Church and now serves as the Senior Priest of St. Patrick’s Parish in Stoneham. He graduated from Amherst College and the Episcopal Theological School. He previously served parishes in Danvers, Hamilton, Malden, and in downtown Boston. Jurgen and his wife Gloria have two grown children and three grandchildren.

What happens when God imparts a level of rare brilliance on a boy who grew up on an island in the middle of the Pacific? What did he experience in middle school that altered his life—as one also gifted with unusual athletic and musical abilities? This is the story of Dr. Scott Tan, an American engineer and artist. A man who, according to Psalm 105:2, speaks of the Lord’s “wondrous works!”      
 
Dr. Scott Tan is the data scientist for Gotham Greens. In 2019, he was selected as a member of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science. Scott earned his PhD in mechanical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he also acquired his master of science degree. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Pomona College including a year doing research at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Scott is a worship leader at Life Community Church. He is a husband and father of two children.

What is Integrare at Dartmouth College? This is the story of Kent Dahlberg, whose ministry at Dartmouth, with his wife Denise, is an extension of God’s loving touch on lives at the lush Hanover campus. As in John 8:12, they share “the light of life.”   
 
After three decades serving in a variety of ministry leadership roles with CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), principally at Brown University and Dartmouth College, Kent and Denise Dahlberg launched Integrare in 2009 as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a Board of Directors. Integrare is a fully recognized member of Dartmouth’s Tucker Center for Spiritual & Ethical Life.

How does God lead a girl who was born in Madison, Wisconsin and grew up in Washington, D.C. to become a world-renowned recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician who performed extensively in North America, Europe, Asia, and Central America? How is it that she is also a master teacher and speaker? Why did God lead her to be the founder of a Christian Study Center at MIT? This is the story of Dr. Mia Chung-Yee. As in 1 Corinthians 10:31, she does everything “to the glory of God.”       
Dr. Mia Chung-Yee is the Executive Director, Founder, and Board Chair of the Octet Collaborative at MIT. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College, a master’s degree from Yale University, and doctorate from The Julliard School. She was Professor of Music in Residence at Gordon College from 1991-2011 and joined the faculty of the Curtis Institute of Music as Professor of Musical Studies in 2012.

Dr. Gary Scott Smith is the author of the book Religion in the Oval Office: The Religious Lives of American Presidents (2015) and Faith and the Presidency: From George Washington to George W. Bush (2009) both published by Oxford University Press. His op-eds have appeared in the Washington Post, Newsweek, the USA Today, and other outlets.
Dr. Gary Scott Smith is professor of history emeritus at Grove City College. He is also an ordained Presbyterian minister who serves as a parish associate and the director of the mission program at Saint Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, North Carolina. He taught at Grove City College in western Pennsylvania from 1978 to 2017 where he chaired the History Department. He earned his M.Div. at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. in History at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Edward Dixon is the Executive Director of the Center for Christianity and Scholarship. He earned his B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University, an M.A. in Religion from Yale Divinity School, and his Ph.D. in New Testament at Emory University.

The Rev. Dr. Kelly Madden has a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a PhD in Political Theory from the University of York, England. He is the husband of Heather, the father of two adult children, Alex and Kathryn, and an ordained Anglican clergyman.

This is the journey of Glen Comiso. A story with the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower shortly after the Twin Towers collapsed on September 11, 2001. A man who, according to Matthew 7:24, understood Jesus’ words about “a wise man [who] built his house on the rock.”
 
Glen Comiso is Senior Director for Institute Affairs in the Office of the President at MIT where he oversees and facilitates Institute-level initiatives in areas such as innovation, industry-engagement, health, and communications. He is on the faculty advisory board of the Octet Collaborative, a Christian Study Center serving MIT. Glen received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Quincy with his wife Cindy and their children, Sophia, Tiffany, and Peter.

The Good Life With Dr Danny 

Danny Yamashiro is the radio and podcast host of The Good Life with Dr. Danny, a daily Christian talk show in New England on WEZE and WROL of Salem Media Group Boston. He is a chaplain at MIT and co-chairperson of the Cambridge Roundtable on Science and Religion. He has ministered in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, North America, South America, in the Pacific and Atlantic islands. He earned his Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with research on the formation of American presidents at the intersection of childhood trauma and religious education. His master’s with a concentration in government is from Harvard Extension School. Earlier degrees are from Talbot School of Theology and Biola University. Danny miraculously survived falling 400 feet from a cliff in Hawaii while free climbing, at age 18. He is the founder at president of JCCY, Inc., with Formation Institute, a division based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Danny is married to Jamie. They have three adult children.
